Saga Cruises Dining Information

Deciding when and where to dine is all part of the Saga cruise experience. Try innovative dishes of game, meat and fish paired with fine wines and decadent desserts. The innovative chefs onboard have free rein to shop, plan and prepare their own unique menus. This means food can go from the market to your table in a matter of hours. Whether it’s the main dining room or one of the alternative restaurants on board, all meals in all venues are included in the cruise price.

Main Dining Room Policies: All dining rooms have a flexible seating arrangement. Guests can enjoy open dining each evening or reserve the same table for the duration of the cruise. Dinner is served in a single sitting from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Dress Code: There are two evening dress codes- formal and casual. Formal dress is an evening gown, cocktail dress or trousers for ladies, and a tuxedo or dark suit with tie for men. On casual evenings, ladies may wear an informal dress or trousers, while men can wear slacks and an open neck shirt. Generally, two formal evenings should be expected on a 7-night cruise, three on a 14-night cruise and four on a 21-night cruise. Shorts and swimwear are never permitted in the main dining room.

Beverage Policy: Unlimited coffee, tea and fruit juices are available in selected venues. Select wines are included with lunch and dinner.

Special Requests: The chefs can cater to a variety of diets, including vegan, diabetic, salt-free, gluten-free and kosher. Vegetarian options are available as a standard at every meal. Please advise your travel counselor of any special diets at the time of booking.
